Live by Your Wits - Hiking, is the first core board game by Owl’s Nest’s Games LLC. OWL has launched a unique game company

specializing in entertaining and exciting preparedness games with the hiking activity as the first theme. This game, like all of the OWL games, targets anyone who enjoys a challenging adventurous and FUN game with friends, family or colleagues. There is also a learning element in preparedness. The creator has had 30 years of experience in emergency services including many in search and rescue. OWL also has expert advisors in specific fields helping us design these games. The game play was developed as a direct result of those extensive experiences. Players from 12-112 years old. 1-6 players.

The Owl’s Nest Games launch will feature its first core game followed closely by two expansion games. Future core games are planned for a series of FUN, thoughtful and challenging game play. Each core game will have its own unique theme, mechanics and strategy. Most will have a planned Deluxe Edition with a higher component quality and a matching price increase. Expansions for each core game will follow on a regular basis throughout the year.

Emergencies happen every day and by learning to think resourcefully, before the event occurs, players will be better prepared for what life has to offer. These games may sound intense, but the play is exciting and FUN. Laughter and story-telling is a common element of game play. At the same time, essential life learning is taking place.
Who could ask for more in a game?

Live By Your Wits® is designed for one to six players ages 6 to 106! The game can be played in teams or individually.

Individual or team play. Competitive or collaborative play.

The game may be played in a co-operative or a competitive manner which will change the strategy of each game. Players often start with competitive play and soon learn that co-operative play is more advantageous to them. Usual playing time for a one day hike is about 45 minutes with 4 players and one hour for 6 players

The aim of Live By Your Wits® is to underscore the importance of being prepared; understanding how your current decisions impact both long and short term results. Live By Your Wits® allows you to spend time with family, friends and colleagues.

The Live By Your Wits cloth game board is constructed from recycled plastic and all of the game components are easily packed in an organic ditty bag provided

with each game. This makes the game a compact travel companion as well as requiring a minimum of storage space. For retail sales this bag is closed with a strong zip tie and a hang tag. Each OWL game
has its own specific UPC and MSRP printed on the hang tag.
